James Lee Eversole was raised in a Union household. (His Father was a member of Local 957 for 26 years, He worked for Schwerman trucking in Fairborn Ohio and then worked at A.B.F.). Lee started his Teamster career in 1984, when he was hired as a driver at Suburban Propane in Enon Ohio. He then went on to A.B.F Freight Systems in 1994, where he still works today. He was honored by his brothers and sisters at A.B.F. when they elected him as chief road steward, a position that he still holds today.  Then in October 2005 he was honored again by the members of local 957, when he was elected trustee of the local.  He took office at the local in January 2006
